The Requirement

We were approached by a developer who needed to find funding for the RIBA stage 4 architectural works. This is the vital technical design stage, where the vision for the project begins to materialise and where technical aspects of the design are developed.

Securing finance at the early stages of development can be challenging because it is hard for the lender’s valuers to assign an accurate end valuation figure for the completed project. Lenders may be cautious, as the final value is not yet fully determined and can only be estimated based on the available information and projections.

The Solution

We utilised our expertise in project analysis to comprehensively outline the merits of the development to the lender. By providing a compelling presentation, we were able to effectively address the concerns and uncertainties associated with funding a project that was still in its infancy. This strategic approach was instrumental in building the lender’s confidence and securing their commitment to lend.

As a result, we successfully achieved the required level of funding for our client, who was hence able to proceed with the required architectural works and move forward with the architectural works.
